PDM Stables
PDM was established in the late 60's on 32 acres of land in South/East Bakersfield.  There was 1 barn consisting of 7 stalls, 1 tack room, and and office.  Throughout the last 40+ years Gabe has worked hard to build the facility into the beautiful stable there is today.  PDM now has 3 inside barns with a total of 24 inside stalls, 19 half covered outside stalls, 4 uncovered stalls, and 8 spacious turnout paddocks.  There are 5 rings, 1 bull pen, and 1 lunging round ring, and a park area with swings and a sandbox.  There are mature trees providing a lush, shady, park like setting.  

Lessons

We offer lessons to beginner and advanced riders.  Never been on a horse before?  We can get you started.  You don't have to own a horse or have any equipment to get started, we provide everything.  After you have taken a few lessons and decide that you want to become a little more serious we can assist you in getting the proper attire to make you time in the saddle more comfortable and effective.  
We offer group and private lessons, the current rates are:
Group: $40 per lesson (no more than 5 riders in a group)
Private: $55 per lesson
Monthly: $220 for 2 lessons per week

Boarding
We offer 3 different boarding options to suit your horses needs.  All horses are fed quality alfalfa or grass hay twice a day.  Stalls are cleaned 6 days a week, and inside stalls are bedded with shavings once a week.  We have many spacious turnouts for horses to stretch their legs during the day.  
Inside stalls: $415 per month     12' x 12'  (pictures coming soon)
1/2 covered outside stalls: $300 per month     14' x 31'  (pictures coming soon)
uncovered outside stalls: $265 per month     12' x 24'
Training
We have custom tailored training programs to suit your horses needs.  Whether you have a green horse or an older horse that just needs some tuning up, our experienced trainers can help them be their very best.  Horses are ridden 2 - 4 days a week depending on what is in the best interest of the individual horse.  If your horse does not need to be in full training, we offer training per ride.
